Description: My collection of portraits encapsulates a journey of artistic self-discovery, inspired by the pioneering spirit of Alice Neel. Initially daunting, these portraits evolved organically, guided by my evolving artistic intuition. In homage to Neel's unconventional color choices, I set out to emulate her harmonious palette. Though challenged by color selection, I innovated by integrating background hues into shadowed areas. This technique infused my subjects with natural vitality and authenticity. The series' evolution saw portraits conceived in green, blue, and orange sequences. The verdant tones of the initial portrait embodied the struggle of uncertainty, while subsequent works flowed more intuitively, reflecting my progress.
