Inspired by the artist, Sue Scobie, I made this bowl that depicts landscape.
Mishima with black engobe. Brush paint with green engobe and blue engobe.
Glaze: Majolica (inside), Clear Glaze (outside), Licorice (outside bottom).

I made this bowl set with one painted a tree with majolica outside and one painted a tree with majolica inside.
Glaze: Licorice (all), Majolica (brush paint).

This is a milk pitcher. Slip trailing was applied to the botton piece to create wave patterns.
Top part: Glaze Majolica over white engobe. Bottom part: Slip trailing with yellow engobe and blue engobe (outside), blue engobe (inside).
Glaze with Clear Glaze (outside).

I used three glaze choices to make four color pattern on this cup.
Glaze: Licorice (all), Majolica (left), Buttercup (top).

I mimicked the traditional Japanese teacup style for this cup set.
Left piece: Licorice (all), Sensei Red (outside bottom).
Middle piece: Licorice (all), Shiny Green (outside bottom).
Right piece: Licorice (all), KB Turquoise (outside bottom).

For this pitcher, I experimented with underglaze and brighter colors. I also added natural elements (flowers, waves, etc.) to make a fancy handle.
Underglaze (4 layers each): Yellow, Apple Green, Dragon Red.
Glaze: Majolica (inside), Clear Glaze (spray outside).
